Whenever you open certain apps, you will be welcomed with series of "ads" popping up on your screen. The owners of those apps get paid anytime you view or click those "ads" on the app. These app developers get paid by Google ADMOB each time and everyday you open their App.

In today's lecture, I am going to show you in details how Google Admob works and how you too can start earning money on daily basis from the comfort of your bedroom. Interesting isn't it?
What is ADMOB?
To put it simple, ADMOB in details means Advertising on mobile app which is to App developers and ADSENSE is, to bloggers,website etc. It Allows App developers to monetize their app by displaying 'ads' from other advertisers.
What do I need to begin earning money immediately?
For a start, all you are going to need is
An android phone
Internet connection.
And most especially
Your attention I don't like repeating myself wen I answer a question.
Signing up for an ADMOB Account
- Login to www.admob.com
- Click on sign up for AdMob
- Insert your 'gmail address' on the screen that pops up. If you do not have an active gmail account, proceed to "create account"
- After a successful signup, the page below will appear
- Fill in the required fields i.e Country (Nigeria), Time Zone (Lagos), Billing Currency (US Dollar)
- Proceed by clicking on "create AdMob Account"
- Congratulations you have just created an AdMob Account.
- On the same page, tick "Yes" on all the questions and click on "continue to AdMob"
-On the top left corner of the page, where "Home" is located, click on caption located there.
- Select Apps on the options that appears next.
- Click on "add your first app"
- Reply to the question "Have you published your app on Google store..." by selecting No
- Enter the name of your App; it could be any name of your choice (i.e Moster....my name (Dongreat) if u wish)
- In the provision for "platform", Select Android
- Click on "ADD" button once you are done.
CREATING OF AN "AD UNIT"
In a lay man's language, an Ad Unit is a kind of Ad, which app developers integrate into their apps and display to users in order to monetize their app. There are many different kinds of Ad units, ranging from interstitial ads, rewarded video ads, banner ads, and a host of others.
- Banner Ads are Rectangular ads that occupy a portion of an app's layout; can be refreshed automatically after a period of time.
- Interstitial Ads on the other hand, are Full-page ad format that appears at natural breaks and transitions, such as level completion.
To Create a Banner Add
- Click on "Select" located below the BANNER
- Enter 'Ad Unit name" e.g Banner1 B1 or even ur name
- On the options below, click on "Create Ad Unit"
- your Banner1 "Id Unit" should look like this; ca-app-pub-4706611371009664/5845663093
You have to create more ad unit like 1 more making it 2 banners for your app
- Click on done!!
To create an Interstitial and Rewarded Ad
- Follow the same procedure as outlined above, in the creation of Banner Ad unit, but this time, instead of clicking on the SELECT option under "Banner", click on the SELECT option under INTERSTITIAL.

After creating all Ad unit for each banner, interstitial and rewarded Ad, your page should look like this; (look below for pic)

the next line of action is to "Reset Advertising ID" of your device.
- On your device, go to settings
- Select "Google"
- Under Services, select Ads
- Afterwards, click on "reset advertising Id"
After completing the above procedure, the next step is to open your customized App (i.e Moster App or whatever you have chosen your App name to be).
1. However, before proceeding, signup/login to your VPN and change your location... In my example, I use US West
2. Once you are connected, a "key" symbol tends to display at the top end of your android device.
If you have successfully done the above, then you are good to proceed!!!
Next Phase is the
"Earning Phase"
In these phase, all you are required to do is just a little bit of work which should not take you up to 30 minutes each day. You earn $$$ on daily basis by "Self-clicking" your own App.

- For beginners, after earning an average of $10 per day, it is advisable to pause for the day and continue the next day...
- Your AdMob account risks been blocked if your earnings per day is somewhat around $20 for a beginner ...(This is because AdMob may grow suspicious of you breaching their terms of usage, hence you might not see ad serving in your account)......
